PokerStars has recently announced the schedule for the 2008 World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP). The full event has a guaranteed prize pool of thirty million! The thirty million prize pool makes it the biggest online poker tournament series ever.
They are running 33 events in total with many different poker games including Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, HORSE, 2-7 Draw and more. The total prize pool for the No Limit Hold'em events at the WCOOP this year is guaranteed to be over $24 Million. There are 13 NLHE events, with the biggest main event being a $5200 buy-in with 10 million guaranteed.
