The Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is brought to you by the team at Full Tilt Poker and will be starting for the eleventh time this February. If you have played in one of the previous FTOPS Events then you know how exciting and enjoyable they are for the players. Each tournament is filled with money to be won and you also win some cool prizes for finishing in top positions in any event.
Beginning on the 4th of February Full Tilt Poker will start the FTOPS 11 Event with the first of twenty-five events. In total Full Tilt has already guaranteed that there will be more then fifteen million in guaranteed prize pools for these twenty-five events. The events will be played in a variety of different poker games so that everyone has a chance to participate and each of the events is being hosted by one of the Full Tilt Poker professionals.
While you wait for the start of the FTOPS 11 Event there are quite a few satellite events that are taking place at Full Tilt Poker so that players can earn tickets to the events. When you win a seat into an event Full Tilt will automatically register you for the event. If you happen to win another seat into the same event Full Tilt will credit your account with the equivalent amount in tournament dollars. This is great news for those of you who like playing the satellite events.
The highlight of the FTOPS 11 Event is going to be the two day event which has become the staple of the entire FTOPS Series. The two day event is a $5000 + $200 buy-in, but there are satellite events which you can win to gain entry to the tournament. The event will have a prize pool of at least $2 million and the event will begin on February 14th at 2:00PM EST. During the first day of action you’ll play until there are two tables left or you reach level 17 whichever comes first. The second day will feature the conclusion of the tournament.
The main event of the FTOPS Series is the next most popular event and will feature a prize pool of at least $2.5 million. FTOPS 11 will definitely feature one of the best main events yet and with such a massive prize pool you can really win a nice amount of money by playing. You can buy directly into the main event or earn a seat through satellite events throughout the next month or so.
FTOPS 11 also will have a freeroll event for players who get unlucky in any of the events. If you finish the tournament on the bubble and you’re the last player eliminated before the money you gain entry into the freeroll tournament. The bouncebackability freeroll is only for the players who are eliminated last before the money in the FTOPS 11 Events and the players will be playing for a seat into the FTOPS 11 main event.
Apart from the guaranteed prize pools in the FTOPS 11 Event there are also prizes for all players who finish on the final table of any of the twenty-five events. The players who finish on a final table in any of the events will win the prize money for that place plus a FTOPS limited edition jacket. If you win one of the events you get the jacket plus a gold FTOPS jersey and a Gold Jersey avatar to use when you play on the Full Tilt Poker room.
